Once water damage and rot were discovered behind our cedar siding, the Gennaro crew quickly and efficiently replaced one side of our house along with a cedar chimney. I was especially impressed that they took the extra effort to make sure the replaced house trim matched the existing structure. Jenna, AJ, Zack, and Gage were all professional and delightful. We had Gennaro’s team replace a few exterior walls of cedar siding that had seen rot, warping, and general decay over time. Walter, Gage, Kaya, and Jeff did an extremely thorough and quick job and were professional and friendly while doing it. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work day, which we so appreciated - as demo and wood work can quickly become a major mess if not kept on top of.We were also impressed that the job came with such a communicative project manager, Josh. He kept us informed and helped troubleshoot as unforeseen issues came up along the way. He even came by over a weekend to resolve an issue that came up due to a heavy rainstorm.Overall, the entire crew we interacted with was very thoughtful and patient with us, helping us understand how things worked along the way without making us feel like fifth graders. We will definitely consider them again for a future project!

Gennaro did a great job on an interior re-insulation and ceiling replacement on our A-frame. Josh helped guide us through a nasty wet roof surprise, Zach ran the site in a courteous and friendly manner (daily walkthroughs at the end of every day were great!), Kaia and Walter did some highly creative carpentry and Brendon did a great job as well. All four were always willing to talk us through one thing or another as we were living on site and had a lot of questions. Mat deserves a shoutout for flexing onto the project halfway through and Jenna, Troy and Josh even rolled up their sleeves and put in some work late to try their best to keep the project on-time.We highly recommend AJ & team and they'll be our first choice for any future work.

The Gennaro Team did an awesome job! They used reclaimed material from our old deck, and added it to another existing deck off the front porch. It took some creativity to get it to work with the reclaimed material and existing structure, but you would never know now by looking at it. It flows together nicely with no seems. I want to express my thanks for such great customer service and professionalism from Jason, Steve and John at Gennaro Contracting for doing such a great job for me and my family. We needed a patch up job for our porch because the wood was getting too much water damage and rotting out leading my family to believe that someone could get hurt. Jason came out and assessed the situation, I told him that it was our plan to completely replace the porch in the next few years, but in the meantime we needed to make it safe for our family. He asked my budget and was considerate of the materials I wanted to use. Within the same day he got me an estimate under budget and we were soon scheduled with Steve to come out within the next few days. Steve came out with the materials ready to make a day of the job. During demo Steve ran into a problem, we had concrete directly under the wood on our porch which may affect the cost, so he called John over to check it out. Our house was built in 1970 and had been renovated several times so this was unknown to us. John came down and assessed the situation, he was very considerate of my budget and continued to seek what I needed with every suggested solution. When we agreed on a solution, John made a verbal agreement with me to cap the cost at exactly my max budget. John then went out and got the extra needed materials for Steve so that he could finish the job that same day.When the job was finished and I got the final invoice, I had found out that John spent more for the materials than my capped budget, but he still kept his word and did not charge me for them, that makes Gennaro Contracting a business you can really trust. The project went great my family and I couldn't be happier, we'll be sure to reach out to Gennaro Contracting when it comes time to replace the entire porch for the dream porch.Also shout out to Kat in their front office, she worked so well with me in resolving a discount my wife had won almost a year ago at the Bite of Shelton, through their promotional booth, which increased our savings on the project.Make sure to reach out to Gennaro Contracting if you have a project you need honest and straight forward professionals for, also if you're heading out to the Bite of Shelton this weekend, make sure you stop by their booth to spin the wheel, it can save you up to $500!!

Gennaro Contracting was a joy to work with. AJ came promptly for an estimate and sent the written one within a couple days. Steve and Vincent plus a couple others were very thorough and efficient in their work. They were a delight to have around and kept their workspace clean and left our house in good order when they left for the day. We had a flood that required new floors and 1/4 up several walls and new ductwork. The floors, walls, trim and door frames all look very professionally done. You cannot tell where the old and new wall meet. They had a reasonable estimate and were able to work within those perimeters. The communication with the office administrator was very helpful and she kept in excellent contact with us. She always answered my phone calls and questions in a prompt and courteous manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have been using their yard cleanup service and I live in a very wooded and heavily treed area. Lots of leaves and debris constantly falling. These guys do an excellent job blowing raking bagging and removing the waste. They are friendly and courteous and professional. It always looks so great after they have gone.
